About NDIN:
Leadership

NDIN is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization led by a national volunteer board and program staff. Board members are nominated by a sub-committee of the Board of Directors and elected by membership at an Annual Meeting usually held during the annual conference of National VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster). The Board meetings face to face in the Fall and Spring of each year and typically 2-4 other meetings by conference call.

Oversight of the NDIN website, e-newsletter and management of all directories and consulting and training partners is provided by various board members.

The Board also appoints volunteer program staff to serve the various ongoing mitigation education and training interests of the organization - as well as the management of its technology tools and proprietary training curriculum and intellectual property.
