About NDIN:

Leadership

NDIN is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization led by a national volunteer board and program staff. Board members are nominated by a sub-committee of the Board of Directors and elected at an Annual Meeting usually held during the annual conference of National VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster). Board meetings are held in Fall and Spring of each year and by conference call.

Oversight of the NDIN website, e-newsletter and management of all directories and consulting and training partners is provided by the President of the Board of Directors.

The Board also appoints volunteer staff and  project consultants and trainers who serve as consults, lecturers, mitigation education and preparedness trainers and researchers – the Board also provides management of all NDIN technology tools and proprietary training curriculum and intellectual property.
